Eminem

Eminem has chosen "Space Bound" as his next single after "No Love", and he is gearing up to promote it with an accompanying music video. The rapper recently filmed visuals for the Jim Jonsin-produced song with porn star Sasha Grey.

The Slim Shady has once again hired "Love the Way You Lie" director Joseph Kahn to sit behind the lens. According to MTV, which has obtained several set pictures from its Los Angeles video set, the upcoming video will feature an intense love storyline just like the Megan Fox-starring clip.

Earlier this week, Eminem was announced as one of the headliners at the forthcoming Bonnaroo. The Grammy's 2011 Best Rap Album and Best Solo Rap Performance recipient will be joined by another Grammy winner Arcade Fire as well as other notable artists like The Strokes, The black keys, Lil wayne, Mumfrod & Sons,Robyn, Big Boi, Robert Plant, Scissor Sisters and Alison Krauss.

The 10th annual music festival will take place in Manchester, Tennessee from June 9 to 12.

Detroit superstar rapper Eminem had an epic night at the 53rd Grammy Awards Sunday evening (February 13).

Checking into the festive awards ceremony with a whopping ten nominations, Slim Shady walked away from the bash with just two of the coveted trophies in the Best Rap Solo Performance and Best Rap Album categories respectively. Em won the performance nod with his hit song “Not Afraid” while his chart-topping and continually high selling album Recovery got recognized at the top rap album. But the Motor City bad boy’s night was also notable as a result of his performance with pop star Rihanna and a much hyped performance with his mentor Dr.dre and singer Skylar Grey.

Performing their Grammy-nominated hit “Love The Way You Lie”, Rihanna and Eminem torched the stage – literally. A somber solo set from the Barbadian songstress opened up the performance before Eminem stepped out to a stage that looked to be ablaze in the background. Paired with Rihanna’s fire-streaked black dress, the dramatic effect was well done. Eminem was at his impassioned, angry best with his vocals sitting high on top of the live band’s mix and echoing with extreme clarity.

The stage went dark before Skylar Grey’s haunting riffs as Eminem launched into the track “I Need a Doctor” featuring the man who gave him his break along with Jimmy Iovine, Dr. Dre. This was Dre’s first television appearance in over a decade and the lead up to this even was one of the most anticipated events of the night. The trio did not disappoint and Dre’s husky vocals sounded right at home over the somber but bombastic track.

At 38 years old, Eminem is enjoying a success like none other and with the rapper playing a major role Dr. Dre’s upcoming final album Detox, fans should expect to hear more from the Shady one in the near future.
